NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A man that was killed in the Treme double shooting on Tuesday, Oct. has been identified, per New Orleans Coroner Jason Melancon.

Johnathan Arnold, 33, was identified as the victim that was killed.

According to New Orleans Police, the shooting happened in the 400 block of N. Galvez St. around 10:40 a.m. Police found Arnold lying on the sidewalk. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

The second victim was found inside a nearby house, shot in the leg, police say. That person was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police are working to identify a suspect and a motive.
